Aisay blurr pulak...

After being topped with mashed potatoes and cheese.

After baking..

Potatoes are quite cheap here in the UK, everytime I shop for potatoes at my favourite East and West Grocery, I would always buy the 5 kg pack for better value of money. Today suddenly felt like eating cottage pie.

Here is the recipe:
5 big potatoes
1/2 kg mince meat
2 tbs kurma powder
salt, pepper
1 cup green peas
close cup mushrooms
3 carrots- cubed
2 celery sticks- cubed
1 Holland onion
1 inch ginger
3 garlic
2 tbs butter
1/2 cup fresh milk
grated ceddar cheese

Methods:
1. Peel the potatoes, cut into cubes and boil till soft (about 10-15 min).
2. Drain the water, mash the potatoes and add salt, pepper, butter and milk.
3. Stir fry the chopped onion, crushed ginger and garlic.
4. Add the kurma powder, mince meat and simmer for 1o min, then add carrots, celery and abit of water to soften the veges.
5. Add the green peas, mushrooms, salt and pepper to taste.
6. Scoop out the mince and spread into a baking dish, top with the mashed potatoes.
7. Sprinkle grated ceddar cheese and bake for 30 min at 180 C till the cheese turns golden yellow.
